Chad Echols, an associate at Hamilton Martens & Ballou, LLC, has been elected to represent the 850-attorney Member Attorney Program of ACA International on the ACA International Board of Directors. ACA International, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, is the comprehensive, knowledge-based resource for success in the credit and collection industry. Founded in 1939, ACA brings together more than 5,000 members worldwide, including third-party collection agencies, asset buyers, attorneys, creditors and vendor affiliates. The association establishes ethical standards; produces a wide variety of products, services and publications; and articulates the value of the credit and collection industry to businesses, policymakers and consumers.

Echols is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the York County Bar Association. His practice focuses on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, business law and litigation. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and ACA International.
